Leni Wesselman

Leni Wesselman was born in Munich, Germany. After school she studied art and multimedia at university. During this time she got her first acting experience in student movies. She studied acting with several teachers and got her first roles in film and TV productions. In 2008 she landed the challenging lead role in the drama, “Mine”. Mine’s world premiere was at the Festival of Films du Monde in Montreal in 2009. Other roles followed including the feature „Silvi“, the graduate thesis film „Der Wald“, and the serbian Co-Production Feature "Open Cage". "Open Cage" in which she played a lead role, celebrated the world premiere at Emir Kusturica's Filmfestival in Küstendorf. For her part in "Open Cage" she won the special jury award as best actress in Nis (Serbia).

Sven Philipp Pohl

Sven Philipp Pohl was born in 1985 in Berlin. He studied Media and Culture in Maastricht and Aarhus, graduating with a B.A. in 2007. He attended the European Film College in 2008, followed by various internships in film and freelance work as a boom operator and editor. He directed several short films and the no-budget-feature DIE TRACHT (2011), before taking up postgraduate film studies at the Hamburg Media School in 2012. His short films include TOUCH OF SILENCE (STILLER LÖWE, 2013) and WALTZING MATILDA (2014).

Geboren 1985 in Frankfurt am Main. Erste praktische Erfahrungen bei Foto-, Film- und Fernsehproduktionen. 2006 bis 2012 Studium Audiovisuelle Medien/Kamera an der Beuth Hochschule für Technik Berlin. Anschließend Masterstudium im Fachbereich Kamera an der Hamburg Media School. Für den Kurzfilm "Eine Prise Oskar" wird er 2014 für den deutschen Kamerapreis nominiert. "Sadakat" ist sein Abschlussfilm und hat 2015 den Studenten Oscar gewonnen.
